Membership

To become a Member of General Practice Gold Coast you will need to fulfill the following requirements for Primary, Associate or Affiliate Membership.

  • Primary (Voting) Membership: Registered Medical Practitioners who identify as a GP predominantly in private practice providing total patient care and doing at least two (2) sessions per week over a period of one (1) year. Full voting rights and can be elected to the Board.
  • Associate Membership: Non specialist medical practitioners who are working at least two sessions per week in a non-hospital setting but do not qualify for Primary Membershp; Practice Nurses; one (1) Practice Manager (or equivalent) per general practice. No Voting Rights.
  • Affiliate Membership: Any person or organisation who, in the Board's opinion, supports the objects fo the Company and is predominantly involved in the provision of health or community services. No voting rights. (GPs not working in general practice [eg Specialist practice, Special Interest practice, or retired/not working, etc])

Note: GPGC accepts Credit Card, Cheque and EFT payments. Facilities are not available via this website for online payment of fees.
